Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our client in Atlantic City, NJ! This role involves interacting with customers to address and resolve inquiries, processing transactions, and providing exceptional service across various communication channels. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $20.13/Hour!

Essential Functions:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize company systems to manage customer accounts, billing records, and complete necessary transactions.
  • Ensure a positive and satisfactory customer service experience.
  • Handle "To Do" types as specified in the company's internal Customer Information System (CIS).
  • Prepare and update customer account details, including billing records, service orders, and related activities.
  • Address and respond to incoming correspondences promptly.
  • Discuss collection activities, payment arrangements, assistance programs, and overdue balances with customers.
  • Process, post, and balance incoming customer payments accurately.
  • Assist in training new Customer Service Representatives as directed by supervisors.
  • Perform additional customer service and clerical tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a basic skills assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with the general public.
  • Quick problem-solving abilities and issue resolution skills.
  • Proficient in de-escalation techniques.
  • Capable of functioning in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to process and retain a large amount of information.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Comfortable working in situations with ambiguity.
