Trial Paralegal

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail oriented and motivated Trial Paralegal to join our client, a property and personal injury law firm, in Boca Raton, FL! As the Trial Paralegal, you will be responsible for working directly with the attorneys to assist with ongoing cases and prepare for trial. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity starting at $60,000/year based on experience!

Responsibilities of the Trial Paralegal Include:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of trial preparation, including research, discovery, and filing motions.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
• Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information relevant to the case.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other court-related activities.
• Summarize depositions, trial transcripts, and other legal documents.
• Liaise with clients, witnesses, and experts to facilitate effective trial preparation.
• Provide courtroom assistance during trials, including managing exhibits and evidence.
• Perform legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and firm policies.

Requirements of the Trial Paralegal:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in trial and litigation.
• Strong understanding of property and personal injury law.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with courtroom procedures and legal documentation.
