Personal Injury Paralegal

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail oriented and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client, a law firm located in Philadelphia, PA! As the Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through settlement or trial. This is a direct hire, hybrid opportunity offering up to $65,000 based on experience!

Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Paralegal Include:

• Conduct client interviews and gather detailed information relevant to personal injury claims.
• Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and insurance companies.
• Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including creating trial binders and exhibits.
• Perform legal research and gather relevant case law and precedents.
• Schedule and prepare for depositions, hearings, and meetings.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of billable hours and case expenses.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.

Requirements of the Personal Injury Paralegal:

• Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law, legal procedures, and court filing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
