Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our client in Malvern, PA as a Director of Related Services! This key leadership role is pivotal in shaping and enhancing the educational and clinical programs offered to our client’s students. The Director will provide strategic direction and oversight for related services, ensuring that all programs meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $130,000-$150,000/year!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise school psychologists, counselors, behavior analysts, and admissions office staff, including Extended School Year (ESY) programs.
  • Assist in supervising speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and school nurses, including ESY programs.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Education to ensure high-quality educational and related services.
  • Conduct regular meetings for Related Services staff to align service delivery with IEP goals.
  • Organize and prepare monthly All Staff meetings for idea exchange, concerns, and policy review.
  • Develop and oversee a supportive behavioral program in partnership with the Director of Education.
  • Ensure ongoing staff training to maintain research-based standards, skills, and certification/licensure.
  • Participate in developing new program components based on audits, data analysis, and community needs.
  • Consult with the Executive Director on parent conflicts, mental health, and crises.
  • Maintain a manual of related services, purposes, and required policies.
  • Oversee Inquiry/Admissions processes, partnering with the Director of Education on enrollment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with education and mental health laws and regulations.
  • Develop and monitor the department's annual budget, addressing programming needs, staffing, and expenses.
  • Maintain professional, confidential, and ethical relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and support organizational initiatives.
  • Actively participate in assigned meetings.
  • Maintain proper credentials and stay informed about special education regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.).
  • Current, valid certification in school psychology for Pennsylvania. PA license to practice psychology preferred.
  • Certification (or willingness to pursue) as a Supervisor of Special Education or Pupil Personnel Services in Pennsylvania preferred.
  • At least five years of clinical experience with special education students.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience supervising related services staff within an educational setting.
  • Deep understanding of the educational, therapeutic, and behavioral needs of individuals with autism, behavioral challenges, and emotional disturbances.
  • Knowledge of admissions processes within educational and/or clinical environments.
  • Ability to engage intellectually and physically in all aspects of the job.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with various stakeholders (administrators, colleagues, students, parents, and community professionals).
  • Proficiency in correct English usage, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Competency in computer usage and computer-based clerical skills.
