Infusion Pharmacist

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to join our client for a direct hire opportunity in Norcross, GA! As the Infusion Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services for chronic and acute infusion therapies, including sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring, in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, while collaborating with the team to ensure comprehensive patient care and customer service. This role offers a salary up to $145,000/year!

Responsibilities of the Infusion Pharmacist Include:

• Provides compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services as prescribed.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and oversees pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Coordinates pharmacy services with nursing, intake, reimbursement, and sales teams for efficient, patient-focused care.
• Supports Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives, and trains new pharmacy staff while serving as a preceptor for interns.
• Assists with procurement, inventory control, and insurance authorization, participates in on-call rotation, and maintains accurate clinical records for compliance.

Requirements of the Infusion Pharmacist:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a specialty home infusion company or hospital pharmacy IV room setting.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with relevant clinical experience.
• Completion of post-graduate residency and/or specialized training.
• Valid and active state licensure.
• Exceptional clinical and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
