Navigator Customer Service Representative

Navigator Customer Service Representatives to join our healthcare client in
Philadelphia, PA for a temporary to hire, remote opportunity! As the Navigator Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for utilizing critical thinking and probing questions to identify customer needs, coordinating with service and technical departments to develop tailored solutions, and proactively identifying additional resources to enhance the member health journey. This role offers
$26/hour!
Responsibilities of the Navigator Customer Service Representative Include:
- Responds promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via telephone, e-mail, or chat, resolving non-technical issues.
- Contacts providers, employers, vendors, and internal partners to resolve customer issues and communicates solutions effectively.
- Exhibits active listening and empathy, building relationships to enhance future interactions and follows documented processes.
- Monitors workflows and inboxes to respond within prescribed timeframes, ensuring all commitments are met and customers are informed.
- Uses customer relationship applications to document work, works independently, escalates issues when necessary, and seeks to expand knowledge and capabilities.
Requirements of the Navigator Customer Service Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 2 years’ experience in customer-facing roles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrates empathy, emotional intelligence, patience, strong interpersonal skills, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple customer issues across various contact channels.
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, flexible with work hours, able to perform client meetings, and collaborate effectively under stress.
