Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Boca Raton, FL! The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in the Accounts Payable department by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, maintaining up-to-date vendor information, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $65,000-$75,000/year!

Manage accounts payable processes using accounting software and other tools.

Handle accounts payable tasks for various entities and vendors.

Review and verify invoices against purchase orders, payment terms, and other relevant documentation before processing.

Perform data entry for invoices and general ledger entries.

Generate Purchase Orders as required.

Manage correspondence across multiple email folders.

Establish and maintain relationships with both new and existing vendors.

Conduct monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of bills while adhering to departmental procedures.

Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as maintaining accounts, recording entries, and reconciling accounts.

Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.

Perform additional duties and assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in an accounts payable administrative role, or 8-10 years of relevant experience, particularly in the construction and restoration industry.

Ability to work independently and effectively resolve issues.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

High level of technical proficiency, with experience in various database systems, Excel, Outlook, Word, and other relevant software.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid changes.

Strong customer service orientation in communications and interactions.
