Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an FP&A Consultant to join our client for a remote opportunity! The FP&A Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial planning and analysis during a key period of strategic importance. This temporary position is focused on enhancing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the loan originations business. The consultant will provide strategic financial insights and collaborate with various teams to ensure financial objectives are met, offering valuable expertise during this transitional phase. This Contract opportunity offers $60-$90/Hour based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of financial reporting packages and performance metrics for various channels within the loan originations sector.
  • Update and maintain financial models to aid in strategic decision-making, including cost analysis and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support ongoing business initiatives.
  • Assist the CFO and finance team with financial analysis related to shareholder relations, including preparing supporting documentation and analytics.
  • Contribute to the implementation of finance data warehouse initiatives and assist in financial systems improvements as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within the financial services or mortgage industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate financial transactions and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships across various functions and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to convey financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
