Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a School Psychologist to join our client in Jacksonville, FL! The School Psychologist plays a crucial role in supporting the mental, emotional, social, and cognitive development of students. This position involves assessing and diagnosing a range of conditions, providing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with educators, families, and staff to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $65,000-$75,000/year!
Key Responsibilities:

Provide psychological services addressing mental, emotional, social, behavioral, and cognitive needs.

Conduct assessments to identify developmental, cognitive, and behavioral challenges.

Diagnose and manage conditions like ADHD, autism, and trauma.

Deliver interventions such as behavior therapy, CBT, and play therapy.

Develop and maintain IEPs and IFSPs in collaboration with the IEP team.

Ensure continuous support and plan updates.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to support student well-being.

Participate in staffing and case management meetings.

Build partnerships with community organizations to enhance resources.

Support transitions for students with disabilities between educational settings.

Train and support staff and families on child psychology and special needs.

Contribute to policy development and implementation.

Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.

Respond to crises with appropriate interventions.

Provide expert guidance on assessment results and necessary interventions.
Qualifications:

Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.

Current licensure as a School Psychologist.

Expertise in psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions.

Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Completion of required professional development hours.
