Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client in Mount Laurel, NJ! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law in both pre-litigation and litigation settings. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $50,000-$60,000/year!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case status and obtaining monthly treatment updates.
  • Request, organize, review, and analyze medical records, bills, liens (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Workers’ Comp), and PIP ledgers. Prepare detailed medical and billing summaries.
  • Draft and compile comprehensive demand packages for submission to insurance adjusters.
  • Draft and electronically file pleadings with the court, including Complaints, Motions, Arbitration Statements, and Settlement Conference Memorandums.
  • Coordinate and schedule key case events such as depositions, expert examinations, arbitrations, and de bene esse depositions.
  • Draft and respond to Interrogatories, Requests for Production, Requests for Admissions, and supplemental discovery. Organize and analyze discovery documents from both plaintiff and defendant.
  • Independently manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all tasks. Create settlement documents, distribution statements, and other necessary legal documents.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and document management systems such as FileVine or similar.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing workflows and priorities.
  • Maintains a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and injuries is a plus.
