Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Purification Specialist to join our client in Everett, PA! The Purification Scientist will be responsible for leading antibody purification processes, developing and optimizing labeling techniques, constructing and managing affinity columns, and supervising team members to ensure the efficient operation of the bioprocessing facility. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers up to $150,000/year!

Build and manage affinity columns for use by purification technicians.

Develop and scale up antibody labeling processes for production.

Innovate and optimize conjugation processes for antibodies at the production scale.

Oversee the purification of antibodies, including Protein A and Protein G purification.

Draft, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR).

Assist with the filling, labeling, and inspection of finished products.

Supervise all personnel involved in purification processes.

Operate basic laboratory and analytical equipment.

Ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs related to protein purification.

Perform tasks in accordance with cGMP guidelines.

Contribute to the preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program.
Position Requirements:

PhD in a scientific discipline with 3-5 years of practical experience in purification processes.

Proficiency in both oral and written communication, with strong command of English and solid mathematical skills.

Competency in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience working within current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) quality systems and manufacturing environments.

Proven ability to lead, train, and effectively communicate with a team.
