Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client in Fort Lauderdale, FL! The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in managing customer interactions, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the company. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing returns, and managing orders through the company's ERP system. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $45,000-$60,000/year based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer purchase orders and Return Material Authorizations (RMA) through the company's ERP system.
  • Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transfers for customer orders and RMA data.
  • Utilize company software to complete and track the RMA process.
  • Update existing customer orders with status changes and other relevant information.
  • Assist with inbound customer communications via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Access customer portals to obtain orders and provide timely status updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and transactions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues and grievances.
  • Scan and manage all necessary documentation in the company’s database system.
  • Process financial transactions such as debits, credits, and other account adjustments.
  • Support team members by managing their accounts during absences.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, including export compliance and specific industry standards (e.g., FAA regulations).
  • Track and report daily key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of college education; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of customer service experience required, with a preference for those with a background in global customer service.
  • Proficient in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Skilled in computer and website navigation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective phone communication skills.
