Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Immigration Unit Receptionist to join our client in Jacksonville, FL! The ideal candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English and have strong organizational and communication skills. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $17-$18/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-screen applicants for immigration services, schedule appointments, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date business calendar.
  • Greet and check in applicants and clients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience.
  • Handle aspects of client cases, including answering and directing calls, returning client communications, preparing correspondence, copying documents, and managing messages for case handlers and associates.
  • Utilize telephonic interpreter services as needed and provide in-person interpretation for non-Spanish speaking staff when necessary.
  • Assist in inputting and opening cases in the legal database, and help organize files for closure.
  • Support with various administrative tasks, including data entry, copying, filing, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications with strong computer skills.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment with heavy client contact is essential. Experience answering telephone calls and managing busy situations is preferred.
  • Prior experience in immigration law is strongly preferred, but not required. At least one year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or in a similar role is preferred.
