Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Conshohocken, PA! In this role, you will oversee daily accounting tasks, including maintaining expense records and preparing financial documentation. You will perform and post financial transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $25-$30/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including payables and cash receipts.
Adhere to strict deadlines and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Ensure accurate and consistent coding of transactions.
Enter journal entries with appropriate documentation to support each entry.
Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Clearly communicate general ledger activity and financial data.
Handle ad-hoc requests and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
2-5 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
Strong attention to detail and highly process-oriented.
Analytical mindset with proven knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and cost management.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, etc.).
Interest in emerging accounting technologies and tools.
