Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensing Administrator to join our client in Mount Laurel, NJ! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our clients' vehicles are properly licensed, and you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline the licensing process. As a Licensing Administrator, you will be responsible for processing licensing paperwork, providing excellent customer service, and staying up to date with state laws and regulations. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is offering $23/HR

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with State Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing Agencies to process clients' vehicle licensing requirements efficiently.
  • Accurately complete state licensing documents for various vehicle types, including cars, trucks, and specialized equipment.
  • Work closely with internal and external clients to ensure proper licensing, offering recommendations for best practices.
  • Respond to licensing-related inquiries through multiple communication platforms.
  • Utilize internal online systems, work directly with State DMVs, and engage with third-party licensing vendors to process licensing work.
  • Research and communicate changes in state laws and licensing requirements.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in various states regarding licensing procedures.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and prepare documents for cross-departmental processes.
  • Assist in training new and existing employees and provide guidance to co-workers when questions arise.
  • Maintain and ensure data integrity of vehicle information.
  • Collaborate with Licensing Analyst to establish client-specific parameters.
  • Troubleshoot licensing delays and explore alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Work with clients to ensure all required state documentation and inspections are included with licensing paperwork.
  • Proactively follow up on licensing to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prioritize exceptional customer service for both internal and external clients.
  • Provide prompt and thorough responses to inquiries.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative services or related fields.
  • Knowledge of DMV regulations is helpful but not necessary.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proficiency in various desktop tools, including MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, such as computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail are a must.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities to meet required deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and organized approach to multitasking.
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Utilizes existing procedures to solve routine problems and applies basic judgment and discretion.
  • Possesses basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the role.
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and the business plan, with oversight from a manager.
