The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the financial operations and reporting for a healthcare organization. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $71,521-$107,282/Year!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of clear processes for month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely completion of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and document procedures to establish and maintain internal controls, helping to ensure adherence to US GAAP standards and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with necessary regulations and standards.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and conducting relevant financial analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve current accounting systems to enhance team efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Provide the foundational rationale for company-wide accruals, ensuring alignment with applicable GAAP standards.
  • Provide management with ad-hoc reporting and assist with various special requests.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare industry. Experience with multi-state and multi-entity organizations is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel functions.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
