Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our client in Deerfield Beach, FL! This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and ensuring accurate accounting practices. The Staff Accountant will also support financial reporting for management, assist with month-end close, and handle various accounting tasks in line with company policies. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $70,000-$73,000/year!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal, external, and audit purposes.
  • Compile data for financial statement preparation and generate reports, including quarterly dashboards, variance analysis, and sales updates.
  • Manage and reconcile transactions for A/R, A/P, credit cards, and vendor maintenance, ensuring proper reporting and updates.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Handle non-inventory credit/debit memos, miscellaneous invoicing, and vendor updates while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Support tax compliance, assist with financial statements for smaller entities, and participate in special projects.
  • Maintain accounting manuals and collaborate with other departments to provide support as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • SAP or integrated accounting system experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
