Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Loss Mitigation Closer to join our client in Fishers, IN! The Loss Mitigation Closer is responsible for finalizing various loss mitigation solutions such as loan modifications, short sales, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure. This Contract opportunity offers $18-$20/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage mailing labels for document packages, ensuring timely delivery and tracking.
  • Validate executed documents for accuracy, completeness, and notarization, then submit for management approval.
  • Initiate foreclosure closing tasks, handle billing processes, and process payment reversals to maintain accurate system records.
  • Track, follow up, and confirm the proper filing of documents, including partial claim submissions to FHA vendors.
  • Mail executed loan modification documents to relevant parties and submit required paperwork to the Claims department.
  • Manage additional documentation for Short Sales and Deed in Lieu transactions, conducting post-closing audits to verify signatures and notarizations.
  • Upload, verify, and store documents in the imaging system, while providing closing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicate with attorneys, title companies, and homeowners regarding liquidation workout statuses and resolve billing inquiries.
  • Ensure Deed in Lieu documents are properly recorded and resolve rejected filings.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in loss mitigation or closing processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in document management systems and basic math.
  • Familiarity with loan modifications, short sales, and foreclosure processes is a plus.
  • Capable of problem-solving complex issues with multiple variables.
