Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Data Licensing & Compliance Specialist to join our client in Lewisville, TX! The Data Licensing & Compliance Specialist will manage and maintain regulatory licenses, ensure compliance with state licensing laws, and provide exceptional service to internal teams. This role involves overseeing the application, renewal, and tracking of individual and branch licenses, facilitating acquisition for new business lines, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. This Contract opportunity offers $25.96 – $31.25/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the submission, renewal, and maintenance of regulatory licenses for both individuals and branches, ensuring compliance with state licensing laws. Track license statuses and manage deadlines to maintain active status.
  • Ensure all licensing activities are in line with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with state regulators as needed to resolve any licensing issues and address deficiencies, such as updating records, submitting documents, and handling regulatory inquiries.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs), assisting them with obtaining and maintaining their state licenses. Provide guidance on application requirements, pre-licensing education, and the resolution of any issues that arise during the licensing process.
  • Manage and track licensing applications, ensure accurate and timely document submission, and maintain meticulous records. Assist in preparing and submitting any required documentation, such as letters of explanation or notarized forms, and track all license renewal timelines.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, keeping organized records for up to 20 licensing processes at any given time. Ensure prompt responses to inquiries and follow-ups with MLOs and their management.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders, including state regulators, MLOs, and management. Provide regular updates and respond to queries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in mortgage or financial services (preferred, but not required to deal with loan-level details).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel; advanced software skills are not required.
  • Prior experience with licensing or regulatory compliance processes is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed.
