Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a driven and experienced Recruiter to join our client for a remote opportunity in the mortgage industry. This role will involve working closely with hiring managers to identify top candidates for positions such as Processors, Underwriters, and Post Closers within a call center environment. This Contract opportunity offers up to $45/Hour!
Key Responsibilities:

Source and engage potential candidates through cold calling, networking, social media, and other creative channels.

Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, talent availability, and competitor activity.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for mortgage operations positions.

Develop and maintain relationships with passive candidates, learning about their career goals to match them with suitable opportunities.

Conduct initial outreach and screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, fit, and interest.

Use advanced interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Advise hiring managers on competitive compensation packages and assist in salary negotiations.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.

Keep accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities using an applicant tracking system.

Continuously refine recruitment strategies to improve candidate quality, hiring efficiency, and time-to-fill.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting for Mortgage Operations roles.

Proven success in sourcing and hiring Processors, Underwriters, and Funders in a fast-paced environment.

In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interviewing methods, and candidate assessment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring teams.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software; Workday experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of accountability.
