Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a driven and experienced Recruiter to join our client for a remote opportunity in the mortgage industry. This role will involve working closely with hiring managers to identify top candidates for positions such as Processors, Underwriters, and Post Closers within a call center environment. This Contract opportunity offers up to $45/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and engage potential candidates through cold calling, networking, social media, and other creative channels.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, talent availability, and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for mortgage operations positions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with passive candidates, learning about their career goals to match them with suitable opportunities.
  • Conduct initial outreach and screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, fit, and interest.
  • Use advanced interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Advise hiring managers on competitive compensation packages and assist in salary negotiations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Keep accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities using an applicant tracking system.
  • Continuously refine recruitment strategies to improve candidate quality, hiring efficiency, and time-to-fill.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting for Mortgage Operations roles.
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring Processors, Underwriters, and Funders in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interviewing methods, and candidate assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software; Workday experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of accountability.
