Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Benefits Manager to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Yardley, PA! The Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, development, and management of employee benefit programs, including group health and life insurance, retirement plans, and other related programs. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $50-$60/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, strategy, and management of the company's benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and external vendors to enhance and implement benefit offerings in a cost-effective manner.
  • Administer day-to-day operations of benefits programs, such as vacation, sick leave, and employee assistance programs, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive communications on benefits policies, programs, and updates to employees, including materials for new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, preparing all necessary federal filings, including 5500 forms and HIPAA notices.
  • Advise and assist employees with benefit plan administration, helping them understand their options and navigate policies.
  • Manage the annual benefits renewal process and implement new programs, initiatives, and policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay current on legislative changes and assess the impact on benefit programs, making necessary updates.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams to streamline benefit implementation and processes.
  • Evaluate potential risks when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Continuously monitor and assess employee benefit programs to ensure they meet organizational objectives and employee needs, recommending changes as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • Advanced degree or additional certifications in Human Resources is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on health and welfare programs.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing qualified retirement plans; knowledge of ESOPs is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA, COBRA, and federal/state regulations related to benefits administration.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework of benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
