Collections Representative
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Collections Representative to join our client in Blue Bell, PA for a temporary to hire, remote opportunity! As the Collections Representative, you will be responsible for managing and executing collection activities by initiating dunning letters, contacting debtors and co-signers, explaining payment terms, recording financial statuses, updating collection systems, and ensuring compliance with enrollment agreements. This role offers $17/hour!

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Collections Representative to join our client in Blue Bell, PA for a temporary to hire, remote opportunity! As the Collections Representative, you will be responsible for managing and executing collection activities by initiating dunning letters, contacting debtors and co-signers, explaining payment terms, recording financial statuses, updating collection systems, and ensuring compliance with enrollment agreements. This role offers $17/hour!
Responsibilities of the Collections Representative Include:
- Generate and send dunning letters to debtors to prompt payment on overdue accounts and confirm payment arrangements as necessary.
- Communicate with students and co-makers via telephone to ascertain reasons for overdue payments and request payments.
- Clarify the terms of the enrollment agreement and related documents to students and co-makers as required.
- Document customer financial statuses and collection efforts.
- Update collection systems with action and result codes for each event and notify co-signers of their responsibilities if debtors fail to pay.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting procedure manuals, and producing reports and correspondence.
- Effective communicator with employees at all levels.
- Skilled in applying commonsense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solving problems in standardized situations.
- Functional knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Minimum of 3 years of collections experience, including 1 year of remote work experience, with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
