Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Associate to join our client in West Chester, PA! The Warehouse & Inventory Associate plays a key role in managing warehouse and inventory operations. This position involves maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing the warehouse, processing sales, and assisting customers at the parts counter. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers up to $50,000/year and a bonus!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular counts and adjustments.
  • Monitor reorder points to prevent stock shortages.
  • Accurately input new SKUs into inventory management software.
  • Ensure timely restocking of shelves.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout.
  • Clearly label shelves and bins for easy part identification.
  • Follow safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist walk-in customers at the parts counter.
  • Help customers identify the correct HVAC parts.
  • Provide accurate pricing and process sales transactions.
  • Recommend repairs to enhance customer satisfaction and increase order values.
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
  • Notify relevant departments of new deliveries.
  • Pack and prepare parts for shipping as needed.
  • Communicate inventory updates and customer needs with the sales team.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies.
  • Report inventory issues or improvement needs to management.
  • Assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Participate in training sessions on product knowledge and warehouse best practices.
  • Perform other tasks to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; education or certifications in inventory management/logistics preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in warehouse or inventory management; HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
