Packing Supervisor

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Packing Supervisor to join our client for a direct hire opportunity in Loudon, TN! As the Packing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient production of packing rooms and ensuring timely delivery of goods to major retailers by supervising and scheduling a workforce of 60-70 employees. This role offers $50,000/year!

Responsibilities of the Packing Supervisor Include:

• Oversee all aspects of the packing process, ensuring customer orders are efficiently planned and packaged in alignment with sales team directives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency by enforcing proper procedures, meeting food safety standards, and complying with state and federal regulations.
• Lead and motivate a team, managing staffing, training, performance feedback, and addressing production or warehouse issues as needed.
• Analyze packing line efficiency, monitor inventory, and manage cost control while maintaining reports and performance metrics.
• Handle scheduling, selection, and training of employees, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to select, coach, and develop employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based applications, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety/Security Policies, and Sanitation/Quality Procedures.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing operational needs with strong attention to detail.
