Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client in West Chester, PA! The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues through phone, email, and other communication channels. This role involves providing prompt and accurate responses to customer requests, coordinating shipments, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers $18-$19/Hour!
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries regarding services, shipments, and billing through phone, email, and online platforms.

Coordinate shipment pick-ups, provide status updates, shipment tracking, and estimated delivery times.

Provide rate quotes, freight charge details, and other relevant information as requested by customers.

Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and delivery agents to address customer issues and ensure timely resolutions.

Schedule and confirm delivery appointments, manage re-consignments, and communicate updates with customers and drivers.

Ensure accurate and timely billing of shipments, and communicate with Accounts Receivable regarding payment issues such as C.O.D. or Driver Collect shipments.

Generate, compile, and audit daily reports to support operational efficiency.

Record and document all customer interactions in the system for accurate follow-up and tracking.

Assist customers with the use of online resources, helping them navigate account features and tools.

Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as response time, call quality, and productivity metrics.
Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong typing skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.

Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, evenings, and non-traditional workdays as required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external customers.
