Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an Intake Specialist to join our client in for a hybrid opportunity in Jacksonville, FL! The Intake Specialist plays a vital role in the initial interaction with potential clients, serving as the first point of contact for those seeking services. This role is responsible for conducting eligibility screenings, providing referrals, and scheduling appointments for individuals applying for services. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers up to $20/hour based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist visitors at the front desk.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and conduct preliminary screenings to determine service needs.
  • Identify and summarize the key issues of client inquiries, providing clear information.
  • Maintain accurate records by entering client data into case management software.
  • Send appointment reminders and necessary communications through various channels (email, text, mail).
  • Schedule intake appointments with staff as needed.
  • Process applications and documentation received via phone, paper, or online submissions.
  • Upload and manage documents within the case management system.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of legal and social services to assist eligible and ineligible clients with referrals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen and understand client needs.
  • Proficiency in data entry, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable using technology, including case management systems, email, and office software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a call center or customer service setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High level of initiative, reliability, and commitment to client service.
