Credit Manager

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Credit Manager to join our client for a direct hire opportunity in Wilmington, DE! As the Credit Manager, you will oversee all credit and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing of customer payments, managing inquiries, and supporting sales and branch teams while leading a team of four and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role starts at $85,000/year with bonus opportunities, depending on experience!

Responsibilities of the Credit Manager Include:

• Lead and manage a team of four AR specialists, providing training, guidance, and conducting performance reviews.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, collections, and maintaining accurate customer records.
• Handle credit assessments, monitor credit limits, and negotiate payment terms for customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely application of customer payments, including checks, ACH payments, and credit cards.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and accounts receivable management.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with proficiency in office applications and the ability to learn new systems.
