Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Staff Auditor to join our client in Malvern, PA! The Staff Auditor will support the internal audit team in conducting audits, evaluating controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is critical for maintaining organizational integrity, assessing risk management practices, and delivering reports to management. This permanent opportunity offers $55,000-$65,000/year based on experience!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to audit findings, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.
  • Coordinate audit activities with external auditors and internal departments to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Assist in performing risk assessments and developing audit programs tailored to organizational needs.
  • Review financial statements, operational processes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the internal audit team in preparing audit reports, presenting findings to management, and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Track and follow up on corrective actions for audit findings to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the planning and scoping of audits, contributing to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Stay informed of industry regulations and best practices, applying this knowledge to audit activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other audit-related software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and other relevant regulatory frameworks is preferred.
