Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our client in Albany, OH. This permanent opportunity offers up to $110,000 annually. The Quality Supervisor ensures compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment. This role oversees quality assurance activities, including inspection, monitoring, and evaluation of processes, ensuring that products meet safety, identity, strength, and quality specifications. The supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approve or reject materials and products based on established quality specifications.
- Evaluate completed batch records to verify adherence to procedures and test accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain compliance of equipment, processes, and workspaces.
- Ensure training programs are developed, implemented, and updated as needed.
- Lead investigations into product deviations, complaints, and quality issues, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and oversee document control, including creating, revising, and issuing documents and labels.
- Identify and recommend quality improvement opportunities aligned with industry trends.
- Supervise a team of quality technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Act as a resource for quality staff, addressing on-the-floor issues and promoting compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain and improve quality systems.
- Perform other quality-related duties as required to support organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated environment with knowledge of FDA cGMP standards, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a quality assurance setting.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and relevant software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
