Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an HR Payroll Administrator to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Jacksonville, FL! This permanent opportunity offers $60,000-$65,000/year based on experience. The HR Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple locations. This role involves managing payroll functions, onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance. The HR Payroll Administrator should be well-versed in payroll compliance, general accounting principles, and relevant employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including auditing, reconciliation, deduction management, and benefit adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage benefits enrollment and changes, including Open Enrollment processes.
  • Reconcile benefits billing and ensure accurate deductions in payroll systems.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries, plan changes, and claims.
  • Administer leave-of-absence requests (FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA) and related documentation.
  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover, new hires, and compliance trends.
  • Assist in maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Handle new hire onboarding, including entering employee information into systems.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, ensuring proper record management.
  • Provide support for HR administrative tasks, such as I-9 verification and filing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of payroll or HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
