Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client for a remote opportunity (must be located in EST). The Customer Service Representative will provide essential support by handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering information about policy coverage, premiums, and procedures. This Contract opportunity offers $19/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Provide detailed information about active policies to customers, agents, and employees.
  • Translate complex contract language into easily understood terms for callers.
  • Resolve a variety of customer issues, ensuring thorough follow-up when additional research is required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and inquiries.
  • Handle requests for policy updates, changes, and other service-related needs.
  • Assist with specific projects related to policy management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address customer service issues.
  • Process address and correspondence changes accurately.
  • Provide guidance on electronic billing, including support for online enrollment and software upgrades.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Strong understanding of policy administration and claims processing.
  • Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with sound judgment.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Excel.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult or upset callers with professionalism and composure.
