Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client for a temporary, remote opportunity! This role involves managing audit processes, supporting tax compliance, and contributing to various accounting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate accounting practices, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic team environment. This role offers $90,000-$100,000 annually based on experience!

Oversee federal and state audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.

Prepare and analyze data to support audit requests and tax compliance activities.

Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, as needed.

Address state tax notices and support related tax inquiries.

Participate in special accounting and tax-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A minimum of 4 years of corporate accounting experience, with exposure to tax audits preferred.

Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Experience with SAP or Oracle systems is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
