Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Funding Specialist to join our client in Langhorne, PA! This temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers $20-$28/Hour! The Funding Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring loans are funded accurately and on time. This position involves detailed file preparation, coordination with external parties, and ensuring compliance throughout the funding process. The role also includes monitoring and resolving issues related to disbursements and monetary transfers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare loan files for funding, verifying title requirements and documents for accuracy and insurability.
  • Initiate and manage disbursements through wire transfers or printed checks.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and attorneys, to facilitate timely loan funding.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or errors in the funding process.
  • Address daily deposits, escalations, and any funding-related exceptions or delays.
  • Complete the final funding process, including overnight check handling, wire confirmations, and related documentation.
  • Manage deposits and ensure compliance with wire and check policies.
  • Coordinate post-closing activities, including tax payments, recording, and policy handling.
  • Communicate with clients and borrowers to resolve trailing document issues or necessary corrections.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a title, mortgage, or financial services environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining exemplary customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
