As the Accounts Receivable/Billing Representative, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, reconciling payments, and resolving discrepancies to maintain efficient financial operations. Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable/Billing Representative Include:
- Execute daily billing processes, analyze customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Process incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and address errors in billing or payment transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and initiating corrections as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to streamline billing and payment operations.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and industry regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in billing, payment processing, or related financial roles; utility industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software, SAP, or other financial systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
