Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Credit Representative to join our client for a temporary-to-hire, remote opportunity in the Philadelphia, PA area! As the Credit Representative, you will be responsible for managing overdue student loan accounts by communicating with borrowers and co-signers, providing support to resolve delinquencies, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities. This role offers $17/hour!

As the Credit Representative, you will be responsible for managing overdue student loan accounts by communicating with borrowers and co-signers, providing support to resolve delinquencies, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities. This role offers $17/hour!
Responsibilities of the Credit Representative Include:
- Engage with borrowers and co-signers via phone to address overdue payments, explain balances, and request payment resolution.
- Update collection systems with action and result codes for all interactions and outcomes.
- Notify co-signers of their financial responsibilities when borrowers are unresponsive.
- Perform skip tracing to locate borrowers or co-signers when communication is not established.
- Accurately document financial information and the status of collection efforts.
- 3–5 years of recent experience in collections or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial documents, such as ledger cards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively resolving payment issues.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently in a quiet, distraction-free remote environment.
