Product Development Specialist

Product Development Specialist to join our client for an exciting opportunity in
Albany, OH! As the Product Development Specialist, you will support product development efforts by contributing technical expertise in drug formulation and analytical chemistry, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This direct hire opportunity starts at
$120,000/year depending on experience!
Responsibilities of the Product Development Specialist Include:
- Collaborate with Operations to develop new formulations that meet clinical needs and customer requirements.
- Design and execute stability studies, draft protocols, and generate final reports for product evaluations.
- Oversee and respond to change controls affecting product stability, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Investigate product deviations and implement corrective actions, documenting findings and resolutions.
- Draft and maintain detailed product information and reports for technical services, marketing, and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy (BS or Pharm.D.) with a valid pharmacist license in OH and willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.
- Experience in pharmaceutical product formulation and conducting optimization experiments to identify critical process parameters.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including 21 CFR 210 & 211, USP 795, 797 & 800, ICH Q1AR2, and Q1D.
- Proficient in chemistry analysis for stability studies, with demonstrated ability to track and trend data independently.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
