Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Nurse Manager to join our client in Norcross, GA! This permanent opportunity offers up to $126,000/year depending on experience. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing the performance and professional development of nursing and support staff. This role involves direct patient care, administrative oversight, and active participation in service planning and policy implementation. The Nurse Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with regulations and drive departmental success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing and allied staff to cultivate a skilled and motivated team.
- Ensure all team members complete orientation, maintain required clinical competencies, and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Manage the intake process, ensuring timely patient assessments, education, and scheduling of nursing services.
- Oversee the completion of accurate patient documentation and clinical reports, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements to support billing and compliance.
- Contribute to service center planning and decision-making, particularly regarding clinical nursing services and multidisciplinary team performance.
- Monitor departmental cost-effectiveness, productivity, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the nursing team and department maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and accreditations.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to develop and refine clinical and administrative policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, reporting any violations as required.
- Serve as the administrator for ambulatory infusion suites, maintaining licensure and overseeing operations.
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care as needed, including infusions in patient homes and the infusion suite.
- Perform managerial tasks such as hiring, addressing performance issues, conducting reviews, and setting team objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN) preferred.
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing practice in areas such as home infusion, oncology, critical care, or IV therapy.
- At least 2 years of management experience, with a proven ability to lead and train teams.
- Home health or hospice experience is highly desirable.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Expertise in IV therapy, including the use and care of various IV lines.
- Familiarity with state regulations for licensed home health agencies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage workflows efficiently.
- Advanced certifications in relevant specialty areas (e.g., CRNI, ONS) are a plus.
- Additional Requirements:
- Availability for on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to provide direct care in both home and clinical settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a fast-paced environment.
