Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our client as the VP of Human Resources in Tampa, FL! This permanent opportunity offers $110,000-$150,000 annually based on experience. The VP of HR is responsible for designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational objectives. The VP of HR will champion initiatives related to employee engagement, talent acquisition, compliance, and organizational culture.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with the organization's long-term goals and mission.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market standards.
  • Lead the design and implementation of competitive compensation, benefits, and employee incentive programs.
  • Provide leadership and support to the HR management team, resolving complex issues related to compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies across multi-site or international locations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, including talent management and employment law.
  • Oversee HR department budgeting and strategic resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth by participating in relevant networking and development opportunities.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Juris Doctorate are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of six years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally at the director level or higher.
  • Experience in talent management, strategic planning, and business development is strongly preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in conflict resolution, organizational planning, and HR technology systems.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with exposure to international HR practices preferred.
