Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our client for a hybrid role in Norristown, PA! This permanent opportunity offers $60,000-$65,000 annually. The Benefits Specialist plays a key role in managing and administering employee insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits programs to ensure seamless support for participants. This position involves collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to provide accurate information, maintain compliance, and deliver an exceptional participant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage employee benefit enrollments, updates, and terminations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of health, dental, pension, and other plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries about benefit programs, providing clear and timely communication to employees and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update records for all benefit-related activities, including enrollment data, plan changes, and historical information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and reconcile billing statements for various benefit plans and process payment requests in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Support participants by explaining plan features, eligibility criteria, and any changes to coverage or policies.
  • Liaise with vendors, insurance providers, and administrators to resolve issues, facilitate plan enhancements, and address employee concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to process updates such as employee role changes, terminations, and new hire onboarding.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering communications, reports, and presentations related to benefits and insurance updates.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, benefit plan guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years in a benefits administration or similar role within a professional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, benefits management software, and maintaining digital records.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
