Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trademark Docket Specialist to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in Washington, DC! This permanent opportunity offers $66,000-$86,000 annually! This role involves managing a variety of docketing responsibilities to ensure the efficient operation of trademark portfolio services. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and requires flexibility for occasional overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and extract trademark-related data from global trademark offices, local counsel, clients, and internal staff for accurate database entry.
  • Identify critical deadlines and communicate them effectively to attorneys and paralegals.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure deadlines are met by reviewing correspondence and verifying filings.
  • Generate, review, and distribute docket reports to relevant team members.
  • Assist with the integration and management of new trademark portfolios.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education is a plus.
  • At least two years of experience in trademark docketing, with familiarity using docketing systems such as CPI preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems; willingness to learn new software tools.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse individuals.
