Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join our client in Hawthorne, NY! This permanent opportunity offers up to $140,000 annually! The Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Working under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, this role focuses on managing nursing staff, coordinating care, and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The Nurse Supervisor is also responsible for fostering a supportive and efficient work environment while promoting professional development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients as needed.

Implement and manage physician orders related to nursing care and ensure proper execution.

Recruit, train, and motivate a skilled nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Ensure all nursing staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, and participate in continuing education.

Conduct supervisory visits, provide counseling, and evaluate staff performance in a timely manner.

Oversee patient care coordination, including assessment, education, and scheduling of nursing services.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of patient-related documentation to meet regulatory and billing requirements.

Collaborate with management to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures.

Maintain compliance with certifications, accreditations, and other professional requirements for the department.

Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent patient care needs.

Monitor departmental workflows, promote efficiency, and ensure adherence to policies and standards of conduct.
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required, MSN preferred.

Active RN licensure in good standing with the applicable state’s Board of Nursing.

At least 2 years of clinical experience in home infusion, home health, oncology, IV therapy, or a related specialty.

Minimum 1 year of management experience, including staff training and protocol implementation.

Expertise in IV therapy, vascular access devices, and infusion therapies.

Knowledge of state regulations for licensed home health agencies.

Valid driver’s license with no significant restrictions.

Advanced certifications in nursing specialties (e.g., CRNI, ONS) are preferred but not required.

Proficiency in MS Office and electronic health record systems.
