Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our client in a 100% onsite role based in Boca Raton, FL. This permanent, direct-hire position plays a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, supporting senior management with strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, experience with budgeting and forecasting, and the ability to analyze large data sets to drive business insights.

Compensation:
  • Up to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior FP&A Analyst:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including variance analysis.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial and business analyses to support decision-making and strategy.
  • Analyze financial reports and records, providing insights on reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, including related schedules and presentations.
  • Develop financial models to enhance forecasting accuracy and support new business initiatives.
  • Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist with external audit support and tax compliance documentation.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices for financial efficiency.
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior FP&A Analyst:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a finance or accounting role.
  • Preferred Credentials: MBA, CPA, or public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
  • ERP & Financial Systems: Experience with Hyperion, Planful, or similar EPM software required; familiarity with Acumatica or other construction ERP systems is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Background in construction finance is beneficial but not required.
  • Key Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across teams and communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
