Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a temporary-to-hire, on-site position at our client's West Chester, PA office. This role involves inspecting and testing raw materials and finished goods, maintaining inspection documentation, and supporting compliance with quality standards.
Compensation:
- $25 - $25.50/hour
Work Schedule:
- Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Post-Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:
- Perform inspections and testing, including incoming inspections of finished goods and raw materials.
- Maintain inspection documentation, including scanning and filing completed records.
- Initiate non-conformance reports and ensure non-conforming material is processed according to disposition.
- Assist with non-conformance investigations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized QC inspection area, ensuring products are properly placed in bins and on racks.
- Assist in internal audits as requested.
Qualifications and Skills for the Quality Control Inspector:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a regulated environment performing quality control inspections.
- Experience reading and inspecting engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in navigating computer systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Positive attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
