Job Title: Customer Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Logistics Coordinator to support freight order management and customer service operations. This hybrid role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless communication and coordination between customers and logistics teams.

Compensation:
  • Up to $65,000 per year

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, standard business hours
  • Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tuesday – Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday
  • Location: Near Cherry Hill, NJ (easily accessible via public transportation, with parking available)

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Logistics Coordinator:
  • Manage order intake and enter orders into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and present suitable logistics solutions.
  • Maintain TMS updates for effective capacity management and collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues.
  • Execute spot quotes and bid on customer load board platforms as needed.
  • Ensure pricing strategies align with market conditions by coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within assigned accounts and collaborate on strategies to expand business.
  • Monitor load profitability and escalate issues when necessary with proposed improvement strategies.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and document all customer interactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Logistics Coordinator:
  • High school diploma or at least 3 years of equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience in customer service or sales, preferably within the logistics, freight, or transportation industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex freight orders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn logistics-related technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certified Broker Transportation certificate or other relevant industry certification.
  • Experience managing transportation and logistics operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
