Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accounting Coordinator to support financial operations in a dynamic environment. This temporary-to-hire, hybrid role is based in Moorestown, NJ, requiring onsite presence on Wednesdays, with full onsite training for the initial few weeks. The position may also involve occasional travel in response to urgent accounting needs.

Compensation:
  • Up to $27 hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid schedule (onsite Wednesdays) after initial training period
  • Occasional onsite presence required for emergencies

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Coordinator:
  • Generate and distribute invoices using QuickBooks.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
  • Conduct invoice auditing, including incident response and cleanup costs.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries in a professional and articulate manner.
  • Assist with contract preparation and documentation.
  • Maintain organized financial records and reports.
  • Provide additional support as needed for accounting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills for the Accounting Coordinator:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills for client and regulatory correspondence.
  • Ability to draft professional emails and review financial documents with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with PDF editing tools and digital document management.
  • Experience in QuickBooks preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Self-disciplined and able to work independently in a hybrid setting.
  • Open to recent college graduates with prior office experience.
  • Willingness to travel sporadically as needed for emergency situations.
