Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our client and play a vital role in supporting operational audits, data accuracy, and process improvement initiatives. This hybrid, temporary-to-hire position based in Philadelphia, PA, focuses on monitoring claims data and accumulator transactions, analyzing discrepancies, and supporting system performance to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Compensation:
Up to $41.00 hourly rate based on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Onsite required at least 3 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday preferred; some Mondays required – parking available those days)
Key Responsibilities of the Operations Analyst:
Audit, analyze, test, and document decisions and actions from start to finish for assigned projects and tasks
Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities through evaluation of current procedures
Troubleshoot issues related to audits, claims adjustments, and accumulator discrepancies, escalating to subject matter experts as needed
Make decisions in accordance with standard policies and operating procedures, consulting management when deviations are necessary
Monitor and analyze transactional data for compliance, accuracy, and quality
Conduct real-time system health monitoring throughout the day
Investigate root causes of data issues and propose long-term solutions
Serve as a liaison across departments for audit-related and escalated concerns
Develop and deliver claims reports for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams, vendor partners, and external clients
Support resolution of claim and accumulator issues in coordination with Account personnel and Trading Partners
Validate testing results related to reporting and accumulator data
Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement improvements
Provide both temporary and permanent solutions to accumulator issues
Qualifications and Skills for the Operations Analyst:
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups)
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and data analysis tools
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
2–3 years of relevant experience (less may be considered at a lower rate)
Prior experience in healthcare or insurance is a plus
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and drive process improvement
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and provide progress updates
