Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Manager to join our client and play a vital role in supporting recruitment operations. This onsite, permanent/direct-hire position based in Wilmington, Delaware focuses on overseeing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention programs—primarily for operator and field-based roles. The role also involves vendor management, recruitment program development, and ownership of employer branding across digital platforms.
Compensation:
$90,000 – $100,000 annually, with bonus opportunities
Work Schedule:
Full-time, standard business hours
Some travel required to terminal and field locations
Key Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Manager:
Lead the development and execution of sourcing, recruitment, and hiring strategies
Manage recruiting vendors and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Supervise HR Specialists focused on recruitment and coordinate closely with field managers
Conduct end-to-end recruiting for all staff vacancies, including onboarding and internal communications
Design and implement onboarding and training programs, ensuring measurable effectiveness
Partner with leadership to identify and address turnover trends
Oversee recruitment budget and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to hiring
Represent the company through social media, website content, and public-facing employer branding
Qualifications and Skills for the Talent Acquisition Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in transportation or a related industry
At least 2 years of experience leading a recruiting function
Familiarity with applicant tracking and data management systems (e.g., TenStreet)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
