Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Manager to join our client and play a vital role in supporting recruitment operations. This onsite, permanent/direct-hire position based in Wilmington, Delaware focuses on overseeing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention programs—primarily for operator and field-based roles. The role also involves vendor management, recruitment program development, and ownership of employer branding across digital platforms.

Compensation:
  • $90,000 – $100,000 annually, with bonus opportunities

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, standard business hours
  • Some travel required to terminal and field locations

Key Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Manager:
  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing, recruitment, and hiring strategies
  • Manage recruiting vendors and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Supervise HR Specialists focused on recruitment and coordinate closely with field managers
  • Conduct end-to-end recruiting for all staff vacancies, including onboarding and internal communications
  • Design and implement onboarding and training programs, ensuring measurable effectiveness
  • Partner with leadership to identify and address turnover trends
  • Oversee recruitment budget and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to hiring
  • Represent the company through social media, website content, and public-facing employer branding

Qualifications and Skills for the Talent Acquisition Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in transportation or a related industry
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a recruiting function
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking and data management systems (e.g., TenStreet)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
