Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to support our client’s payroll operations. This hybrid, contract position is based in Yardley, PA, and will play a key role in managing multi-state payroll processing, ensuring compliance, and supporting timekeeping and reporting functions.

Compensation:
  • $30.00 – $35.00/hour

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, standard business hours
  • Fully onsite for training, then hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
  • Starting September 8th, the schedule will shift to 4 days onsite per week

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple states
  • Verify payroll adjustments and reconcile against logs and reports
  • Research and resolve payroll-related inquiries including taxes, deductions, garnishments, and time off
  • Maintain and improve accuracy of timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Reconcile W-2 information for tax accuracy and reporting
  • Manage vacation and sick time using ETime and ADP
  • Support off-cycle payrolls (bonuses, year-end, stock grants, etc.)
  • Review payroll data for audit accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained
  • Assist in training and guiding junior payroll team members
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and internal policies

Qualifications and Skills for the Payroll Administrator:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with Enterprise ETime and multi-state payroll
  • Familiarity with unemployment claims, deductions, and garnishments
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of payroll systems
  • Certified Payroll Professional (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
