Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our client and play a vital role in supporting their financial operations. This onsite, direct-hire position based in Wayne, PA, focuses on managing revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, overseeing the monthly close process, preparing financial statements, and leading a small accounting team. This role offers a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on responsibilities, contributing to ongoing improvements in financial processes and internal controls.

Compensation:

• $100,000 – $110,000/year, plus 5% annual bonus

Work Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Manage timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Lead month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial data
• Support external audits and tax filing processes
• Maintain and enhance internal control systems
• Mentor and supervise two Staff Accountants
• Collaborate with finance leadership on process improvements, SOPs, and KPI development
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability in a changing environment

Qualifications and Skills for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, but not required)
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Leadership experience managing accounting staff
• Experience in SaaS/software environments and with Sage Intacct is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
