Job Title: Qualification Documentation Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Qualification Documentation Specialist to join a dynamic team in a direct-hire, onsite role. Based in Raleigh, NC, this position plays a critical role in the calibration, testing, and qualification of complex equipment at a single facility. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical or electrical background, enjoy hands-on work, and be highly skilled in precise documentation practices.

Compensation:

  • $75,000 base salary
  • $8,080 annual car allowance
  • Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Qualification Documentation Specialist:

  • Calibrate sensors including temperature, humidity, airflow, liquid flow, differential pressure, and weight
  • Perform HEPA filter integrity checks on systems with 3 to 120+ filters
  • Complete 200-point mechanical inspections, including motor mount evaluations, speed tests, vibration and temperature checks
  • Conduct leak and pressure testing before and after maintenance work
  • Perform air velocity mapping and airflow uniformity assessments
  • Validate equipment cleanliness and contaminant control standards
  • Document all procedures and outcomes using strict Good Documentation Practices (GDP); documentation comprises approximately 50% of responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively in teams of 2–6 technicians
  • Interface directly with internal stakeholders to initiate work, gather documentation, and ensure compliance with site-specific requirements

Qualifications and Skills for the Qualification Documentation Specialist:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on large-scale industrial equipment (e.g., packaging machinery, manufacturing systems, automotive, etc.)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical capabilities
  • Proficiency with multimeters, reading schematics, and understanding basic PLC logic (ladder logic)
  • Familiarity with calibration procedures and leak testing is a plus
  • Ability to accurately describe and troubleshoot equipment operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation standards
